Designed for to support men and women in an aero road position
Aeolus is race saddle designed specifically for the growing category of aero road bikes. Bikes like the Madone have made a lasting impact on cycling. Road cyclists are riding faster and in more aerodynamic positions and rotating further forward, interacting more with the front of their saddle to do so. The Aeolus aero road saddle is designed to offer soft tissue relief through the whole saddle and utilizes a shorter length, with a wider nose and a full cut-out to do so.
The full cutout uses a split design and extends all the way through the nose of the saddle to help eliminate soft pressure, even as riders rotate forward into more aerodynamic positions. The rails also extend all the way to the front of the saddle to allow the whole saddle to flex as one for consistent compliance and comfort.
Shorter length with a Wider Nose
The wider nose of the Aeolus saddle better supports a rider’s pelvis as they rotate more forward. The shorter length ensure the whole saddle provides comfortable, targeted support.
Designed for men and women
We designed and tested Aeolus to work for all genders and have proven the design with riders from our Trek Factory Racing men and women’s teams.
We use the latest biomechanical research and equipment to offer an even distribution of pressure, with targeted support and to eliminate soft tissue pressure. inForm saddles are designed to maximize comfort, power, and speed and like all Bontrager products come with the Unconditional Bontrager Guarantee.
Attaching a rear light is clean and easy with the available Blendr saddle accessory mount. It is easily installed with 2 bolts, holds any Bontrager Flare rear light, and can be used along with a seat pack.
Aeolus is available in three trim levels to fit your customer’s needs and budgets. The Pro gets Carbon rails, a carbon reinforced shell, and minimal padding to keep extra weight to a minimum. The Comp and Elite both get a little extra padding for added comfort, but differ in rails and weights.
Setup - The shorter length of the saddle needs to be accounted for during setup with 10mm of setback and Aeolus is designed for a 2-degree forward tilt.
