Trek's InTension material is built into complex moulding areas to make OCLV Mountain Carbon even stronger and lighter than before. This advanced low-density, ultra-stiff material has 4 times the flexural strenth of a carbon-only structure, and it 8 times stiffer.
MicroTruss housing guides are built directly into the frame for the lightest, cleanest external cable routing.
Sometimes you need a little extra protection, so Trek developed a light, tough external Carbon Armour polymer shield. It provides reassurance when you know your down tube is bound to take some abuse.
Fine tune head tube angle by 1/2 degree and BB height by up to 10mm with the simple turn of a nut. Just flip the link to choose between slack or slacker geometry, without negatively affecting suspension performance. A Trek exclusive.
